The thought has gone through me a few times now. The Z is right where I want it to be now, near-flawless and running like a champ. The problem is that it has lost that ability to take to the grocery store or to the gym, let alone the track. I track it and I'm fear I'll put 4-wheels off and scratch it up, or equally as bad, I'll toast the engine again. Until SZ/SPL concretely solve the oiling issues, this car will only see gentle track days. It's almost too pretty anymore to be doing those things anyway. Plus, the San Jose PD and CHP are out big time pulling people over to go to refs to feed the CA economy. My neighbor thinks I'm a pussy because I won't street race his friend's beater 300 (who is on this site). I couldn't stand to have this car impounded for being silly (I did say I would go to Sac or Sears almost ANYtime to prove him wrong though!). A Sp600 car with nitrous doesn't scare me. Point is, unless the price was deeply right, or my WIFE and I had an emergency, I would not sell it. I do want/need a dedicated track car though. My car can not be the track mogul anymore. I hope to answer that call very soon. ;) SS
